UltreyaUltreyas are special gatherings held throughout the year. An Ultreya is usually planned shortly after a Cursillo Weekend. This is an opportunity for the new Cursillistas to connect with the community, learn more about reunion groups, sponsoring candidates and reflect on how the weekend has impacted their daily life. Ultreyas provide a time to reconnect with friends as well as meet new community members. They begin with an opening prayer and grouping, then a reflection is given, followed by one or two responses to the reflection. Finally, announcements and a closing prayer. Ultreyas are typically an hour long. Please check the events page for upcoming Ultreyas. School of LeadersAn opportunity to develop spiritually and grow in leadership ability. The aim is to foster intimate relationships with the Lord, to develop participants into leaders in their spheres of influence, and to promote confidence in evangelizing. School of Leaders meets approximately 4-5 times per year. Events are open to all Cursillestas and are posted on the Events page/ events calendar. |
Group ReunionReunion groups are groups of three to six people who meet regularly (usually once a week) to share and connect how they are living out the method of the Cursillo Movement. Reunion groups form strong bonds, build trust, and foster a deeper union with Christ alive in our lives and hearts. Form a group with other cursillistas from your weekend or your sponsor can help you find a reunion group. Reunion groups change and grow as time and life continue. Some people may stay in the same group for many years, and some people have been part of many groups. When a group gets too large the group needs to rearrange. Cursillo is not only in Pennsylvania, it is international. When people move to different cities, states, and countries they can always connect with the Cursillo Community and join a reunion group. Volunteers are needed to organize, prepare, and run the weekend. If you would like to participate as a team member, please submit your application located on the specific men's/ women's weekend page. |
